Work With Your Hands and Head
We are hiring across the studio
and the atelier.
MOBILUXE builds one-of-one interiors for vehicles, aircraft and vessels. That takes people who can draw it, engineer it and make it, often on the same commission. If that is you, we would like to see your work.
Nothing here is mass-produced, including the jobs.
Every commission is bespoke, so no two weeks look the same. You will work on a Sprinter cabin, then an aircraft galley, then a yacht saloon. The work is signed, the standards are written down, and the person who cut the leather is in the room when the client sees it.
Work that is signed
- Your name on the commission record
- No anonymous production line
- Craft credited internally and to clients where permitted
Tools and materials that work
- Proper machinery, maintained
- Materials from named suppliers
- Time budgeted for doing it correctly
Room to learn
- Cross-training across disciplines
- Apprenticeships for the right people
- Exposure to vehicles, aircraft and marine work
Straight terms
- Clear scope and reporting line
- Paid test pieces, never free work
- Honest answers about progression
Eight positions, studio and bench.
Each card opens an email with the subject and a short template ready to go. Attach your CV and anything you have made.
3D Artist and Visualiser
Turn cabin concepts into photorealistic renderings clients can walk through before anything is cut. You will work from our engineers' layouts and material boards.
Design Engineer, CAD
Take an approved concept to a production package: assembly drawings, CNC-ready files, tolerances and installation documentation.
Electrical Engineer
Design and integrate cabin power: auxiliary batteries, distribution, inverters, lighting circuits and load management, on vehicles and aircraft.
Electronics Engineer
Own the smart cabin: control panels, automation, entertainment, connectivity and the quiet integration that hides all of it inside the joinery.
Upholsterer and Trimmer
Pattern, cut and hand-stitch leather, Alcantara and textile across seating, doors, headlining and consoles. Quilting and bespoke embroidery included.
Cabinetmaker and Joiner
Build the cabinetry that carries the cabin: veneered panels, consoles, galleys and fold-away furniture, book-matched and finished by hand.
Fabricator and Metalwork Specialist
Structural and trim metalwork: subframes, mounts, brackets and brightwork, engineered to carry the weight that luxury adds.
Project Manager
Hold a commission together from signed drawing to handover: schedule, suppliers, quality gates and the client relationship.
Send three things.
Email info@mobiluxedesign.com. No forms, no portals, no account to create. An email reaches a person here, and a person replies.
Your CV
A short one is fine. We care more about what you have built than how it is formatted.
Work you are proud of
Portfolio, photographs, drawings, a link, or simply a description. Trade roles do not need a website.
A line about you
Where you are, what you want to work on, and when you could start.
Five steps, and a reply either way.
We know what it is like to send an application into silence. We do not do that here.
You send it in
To info@mobiluxedesign.com. Every application is read by a person.
We reply
Within five working days, either way. We will not leave you waiting.
A conversation
A call, then a studio visit if you are local, so you can see the bench you would work at.
A practical
For trade roles, a short paid test piece. For studio roles, a small brief. Your work, your call on the terms.
Offer
In writing, with the scope, the terms and who you report to set out plainly.
Questions, answered.
I do not see my discipline listed. Should I still write?
Yes. The roles below are the ones we are actively filling, but the house covers vehicle conversion, aviation interiors, upholstery, sourcing, design engineering and fleet work. If you are good at something we need, tell us and we will find the conversation.
Do you take apprentices or juniors?
Yes, particularly in the atelier. If you are early in a trade and serious about it, send us what you have made, however modest. We would rather train someone careful than hire someone fast.
Can I work remotely?
Studio roles such as 3D visualisation and CAD can be partly remote. Atelier and engineering roles are hands-on and based at the workshop.
Do you offer paid test pieces?
Yes. If we ask you to make or draw something as part of an application, it is paid. We do not take unpaid work from candidates.
Show us something you made.
A drawing, a seat, a harness, a render, a cabinet. If you take the work seriously, we would like to meet you. The studio is at No 16 Banjul Street, Wuse II, FCT Abuja.
